About Cavalier Lock

Locksmith Ingo Kerl, owner and operator of Cavalier Lock, moved to Charlottesville, Va in 1972 and attended local schools. Following his high school education, he attended Piedmont Virginia Community College earning a Criminal Justice Degree and graduating with honors. Ingo later served his country proudly in the United States Navy.

Ingo began his locksmithing career in 1984, working for a local company. In 2004, after a 10-year stint in sales, Ingo returned to locksmithing and security, working for another well-known Charlottesville business.
